Is this course for beginners?

This course is best for those who are familiar with oil paint & have some experience painting. I have had some beginners take the course with success, however; this course does not cover the basics of getting started with oil paint.

Can I use my own reference photo?

Yes! You can use your own reference photo and paint along following the same concepts that I teach throughout the course and apply them to your work.

Can I take this course with Acrylic Paint?

This entire course is based on oil paint. The extended palette is created in a way for long lasting paint that does not dry as fast as acrylic. I have had one student complete this course successfully using acrylic paint. The color mixing & painting techniques can be applied, but keeping the palette wet may be a challenge.
